Hey all,
I can't begin to tell you all I saw today. We took a bus to the "mountain of evil intentions" which was Solomon's house. He built lots of idols there for his wife that's where the name comes from.
From the roof of the house we were able to see all of Jerusalem! We actually saw where king David's temple used to be and where he would have seen Batheshba bathing. WOW WOW WOW!!
From there we entered the walled city. We stood near the steps Jesus threw out the money changers. Then went into the city itself.
I went to the wailing wall and put two prayers into the wall. That wall is all that is left of the second temple. There were so many devout people praying and rocking on the wall because that is how they unify with their spirit.
Then we walked around the city in 3 person groups. We ended up in a merchant area. I bought a little trinket for M.J.
There is so much more I can write but I don't have the words to express all I saw. I feel like a computer about to over heat because I just can't process how much I am seeing.
This is amazing. I am so grateful I am here.
