2015 Pilgrims have all Arrived Safely!!

Everyone arrived safely in Tel Aviv.  The guys were surprised by the welcome they got from the Dean of St. George's College who road over to greet them.  They enjoyed a reception on the roof, in glorious weather, had a delicious dinner and then headed out for a walk.  Jay led the group down the main road to Old Jerusalem then up and around to a favorite shopkeeper, Abraham, who was ready for shoppers!  (He is ALWAYS ready!)  Jay said some started shopping immediately!  He assured them there would be plenty of time for that.

Tomorrow is a BIG DAY for our pilgrims so they were off to bed and hopefully sleeping soundly.

The following was a letter from Father Fred Robinson, the Rector of Church of the Redeemer:

Dear Brothers in Christ,
Congratulations on going on the fifth Behold the Man pilgrimage!  You will be in my prayers.  May this be a time that draws you ever nearer to the presence of Christ in your life.  A pilgrimage is not just for the experience itself, but for what follows.  I challenge you all to think and pray during this pilgrimage about what our Lord Jesus Christ is asking from you by giving you this gift of walking where He walked.
God bless you all, keep you safe in your travels, and bring you home refreshed and invigorated.  May you see Christ more clearly, love him more dearly, and follow him more nearly as a result of this wonderful and exciting journey.

In Christ,
Fr. Fred+
